Starting a horror novel?

Shall I start one? I could outdo many feeble fanfic attempts (sorry to any buddy-listed-buddies who have done this - forgivness please!), but I may want to actually try it! Writing my own horror novel would be fun. Here's the first line

Just think of how cool that would be! Then, people would pay you just to stay at home and be creative! We could have more Epic Petog too!

Ten THOUSAND THOUSAND epic ideas are lost every day because I can't get them written down. Now my brain starts to rot and I have trouble keeping my words straight in casual conversation. To put in in terms of the Neverending Story, "IT'S THE NOTHING!!!"
