You know, I sometimes... not really compare but think about the Jane Austen novel time and ours.

Both of the men in women in her novels seem much weaker and stronger then us at the same time, just because of their ability to express this pain and not be afraid of doing so.

Sometimes we need our elephants to deal with our lives with our families sometimes we hide behind them and sometimes they stand out needing to be confronted and we are afraid what confrontation will do to those we love or ourselves.

Thoughtful and well written.

Cool post! I liked the use of the almost-invisible text between the lines. Great idea.

Thank you. originally it was invisible, but I changed it a little so it was totally missed. it was a little experimental.

I actually couldn't see it at all on my screen. I had to go back and highlight it to see it.

(Just as a thought, you might want to highlight it in some fashion, or do a text-caption deal for the players who are visually challenged, kind of like the folks who use graphics do.)

Nicely written. :)

I'm not sure how to do the text-caption kind of thing, to be honest. I'll look into it if I do something like this again.

I didn't notice the invisible text until I saw someone else mention it in the comments- it's hard to see at all!

I may need to darken it more. It's supposed to be almost invisible, but yeah, a little too light.

Let me fix that.

edit: OK, changed. A little better, I think - you still need to highlight it for most people, but at the same time it's obvious there's SOMETHING there.

It's supposed to have the sense of the unspoken undertone.
