For those of you that know Al Preston,
He has just suffered a horrible loss. He, and his bride Stephany, have lost their child. The pregnancy aborted itself for unknown reasons. The funeral is Friday. Let's all keep them in our hearts and if you see him, give him a shoulder to cry on or something...

So my little sphere of the LJ universe has been a bit quiet lately, and I'm not exactly sure why that is.

Alright, so something I forgot to mention earlier.
First of all, I got on the scale this morning and saw something I haven't seen in a long time: A weight of under 200. That means I've dropped almost 40 pounds since coming to Dallas.
Go me.
So, there has been some talk and it seems that the conversation from last night was, "mostly" serious.
