The wardrobes in my old dorm were pretty small. Half the size of a closet (so a quarter the size of your current closet). The closets in the apartments were a little bit smaller than a regular closet, so a little less than half what you have now. You're really going to have to economize, Vanessa. I say pack so little that you don't see how you could possibly survive with so few clothes, and then make your mom and dad come visit you in two weeks with anything you decide can still fit. Because if you bring more than you have room for, you CANNOT ask your roommate/housemate if you can share their closet. It's just not done.

If, once you see the apt., you decide you don't have enough storage space, but you have floor space, then get a cheap set of shelves, or a rolly set of drawers or something.

You can delete this if I sound too bossy.

But that stuff can fit in there though right? If I stack some, fold some, and hang some of them up? I plan on having a shoe rack.....this is my security blanket here, I cant leave home with half of it.

P.S. I had an awful dream my two roommates were best friends who were blond, cheerleaders, and sluts who liked to part all of the time........

hey, you could have a lesbian roommate, and maybe she seduces you, and you become girlfriends.

Then You can share closet space, (b/c lesbians have 3 items of clothing...im totally kidding) and possibly clothes.

don't forget to pack at least one shlumpy outfit that makes you feel like crawling into bed and feeling comfy! (if you have room, but I think this is essential)
