Daaaaamn. I'm not a Mylar person, but this was awesome. If you've gotta kill Mo refrigerator-style, this is the way to do it. I can almost hear the ticking in Hiro's mind. Completely blown away. Great stuff :)

That's utterly, utterly horrible and so very cool. I wish I hadn't read it (in fact, I skimmed it, trying to NOT take it in too much, once I saw where it was going), because now I will be depressed until I can find some hot shmoopy Petrellicest, but it is a fantastic idea and you wrote it so well. I can totally see future!Hiro becoming more and more bitter each time he fails, and without Ando around to keep him rooted, it could come have come to this (in the future that we saw in 5YG). Well done (even if I sort of hate you now :-) ).

I'm sorry I'm lame and it took me so long to respond to this. But belatedly, thank you! There were some great challenges posted over on mylar_fic and once you got past the question of "But why would Hiro arrange a future where Gabriel Gray meets Mohinder?" it kind of flowed naturally. Well, naturally for a sick bastard like me, I guess. ;)

I love how you've established Hiro's obsession with righting something that was going to happen anyway (Charlie's death) that it turns him into someone very dark...and the mention of all the ways his various plans backfire in different timelines is actually quite thought provoking.I think Hiro's power has such a rich potential... his power is frighteningly enormous when you think of it, and yet we've seen him lose two people (Charlie and Future!Ando) he holds so dear to his heart. And now in this season, his father. I feel like to hold such a godlike power, and yet still be forced to watch your loved ones slowly die off, would eventually make a person totally crazy ( ... )

I re-read this tonight while (studying? lol) for a test (just break-time!) and this is...still fascinating.
