Happy Thanksgiving all!
I am reminded of Jacob's Halloween/Fall Party at the Flaute's party last year, when they had so many pumpkin pies they decided to have a pumpkin pie eating contest. I was the volunteer for our team. BAD IDEA...no forks, no hands, just shove your face in a cold pumpkin pie with no whipped cream... it's so heavy, not light like whipped cream...everyone was a mess, it was disgusting...but so much fun! Ah, good times.
Let's see, if you like pie: (Pi! -The Cosines)
Pumpkin? Here's the rest of your healthy holiday menu!
Turkey and Gravy...Stuffing...Mashed potatoes...Rutebaga...YAMS...Turnips...and squash. That's all I've got. If you've got any others, feel free to leave me a message...look for a similar style of menu for christmas! (The yams may make a reappearance...)
And perhaps for anything I forgot, a
cornucopia! (Towards the end; be patient!)
Meanwhile; Happy Turkey Day! Eat a lot of tasty food, watch the parade, maybe some football. Maybe do a gravy shot...if not, then a gravy hot shot (yummm...). Relax! May update later!
And always remember; Turkeys in August...I mean, November... (a tribute to my great aunt and her venture on Jeopardy)
