Train the lad. Hogwarts has protections for the students that keep their minds and bodies fairly safe. They can be hurt, but it's very difficult to do so permanently while they are on the grounds.
Also, I'm fairly certain that Mr. Longbottom can deal with whatever you can give him, and that he'd take it as a disservice if you went easy on him.
ok, but I am having some issues. He wants this training in weeks and due to limited information, I am not sure what to teach and what to focus on. Can I use a time spell to extend his training or are those forbidden in Hogwarts?
He wants hand to hand AND sword fighting, but with only 3 weeks time I can show him maybe a few throws and sword stances. I am a federal agent, I am not Merlin.
Didn't know he wanted that much. I should have guessed the sword, though.
If it can't be done, it can't. And don't mess around with time, lass. There's only one way to do that safely, and I don't think there's one available at the school.
