Favorite anime I've watched so far, huh? Why not ask me to pick a single organ to keep while you're at it? I really wanna avoid taking this route cause I know that I'll end up referencing this series A TON, but I'd have to say Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Giant robots? Check. Well-rounded characters? Check. C~D cuppish girl in a bikini top and hot pants? Nosebleed! I mean check. Power levels that make Dragonball and Bleach look like firecrackers? You better believe it. Thinking about it, this is a series that I often do go around suggesting to new friends that either haven't watched it or that somehow, might be new to anime in general. I mean, there's just something in it for almost everyone. It's not gonna fly with the shojou crowd, but we do see a few hookups/ships over the course of the series. The action is good, the story is pretty well-paced. The music, at least in my opinion, is exceptionally memorable. All in all, it's probably one of the more entertaining things I've seen.My only gripe with the bloody series is that a) my favorite character dies(As usual) and b) Episode 4(Really, you can probably skip that one and not miss anything). Expect to see this at least referenced again on days 5 & 8.
