Alternate? You mean, where the guys don't renounce women, but decide to have a three-year all-around orgy? ;-) Nah, not good.
Joking apart, this story is soooooo slashy. But it is a) one of Shakespeare's lesser known plays and b) I have no time to spare to write about them and c) I'm not really passionate about the characters. If Jonathan won't be in it, I would have never bought the DVD. He's looking sublimely beautiful in this.
I was thinking more along the lines where the guys renounce women and stick to it, but yours works, too. But then, there wouldn't be much of a plot, would there? -_^
I see that JK is going to direct "Oedipus" in 2008 at the National Theatre in London, starring his former Frank, Ralph Fiennes.
I'm not a slasher but see your point....and you 'rented' this! I could never have done that, being someone whose also obsesessed with Jonathan and I'm sure oeilletrouge would agree with that.
LOL, I think JK will not replace Ian in my heart, so renting will do for now. But it was interesting to see him, and he is certainly very handsome! Good luck finding the DVD, though I share 's opinion that this was mainly worth watching for JK.
As I mentioned in the above comment, JK will be directing "Oedipus" in 2008 at the National Theatre. Will you be going?
I do have the DVD in my collection, thanks to the option of 'buy it now' on ebay!! a place I don't normally go to anymore and do miss out on Ian's stuff.
Your'r right though this DVD is only worth it for Jonathan :)
And I will be going to see Oedipus, and dare anyone to stop me (ha ha), my membership at the National Theatre will come in very handy.
