This makes me want to bake a pie.

With blackbirds.

Which kind of inspires me to make another pie and a half.

Y'know, to use up the rest of the blackbirds.

they are going to kill you.
they will eat your soul, but save it for last.
a delectable treat after the flesh has been devoured.

after whole lifetimes of silence, this is the comment i get.

i approve.

but goddamn, mark, type something sometime. i have no reason to expect i'll EVER EVER see you again, so i require livejournal posts.

Its not about quantity, but about quality.

Why won't you EVER EVER see me again? We should set it up such that this does not happen, due to it being lame.

i was connected to you through christina and then steven. since i've broken from one after the other (respectively), i don't know how it would happen.

you probably saw a parliament of rooks. they often gather in mass to kill one of their own.

They don't always kill the singled out bird; they appear to have a trial for it, hence groups of rooks being named a parliament, followed by either a pecking to death and mourning ceremony, or the group flying away together.

It's really more surprising that the imagery hasn't been used in an emo song yet.

you've had a guitar for all of two weeks now, right? you're more than ready to write these songs. in fact, if you don't do it quickly, you may become too advanced and miss your window.

(i prefer "you dropped me like a baby giraffe," ps. the latest makes me think long-necked midwife with hooves.)
