shortly after that encounter i sat on a bench to read about bums lying in the sun, as i was no longer, and i was joined by a girl i'd never met who spoke russian at me, and again i said, "what?" -- and learned that she was neat, maybe especially in that talking at people in her native language is how she breaks ice. i've been couped up a long time, and i don't try to befriend girls very often, so my impulse was to shout "BE MY FRIEND," only just quellable.

anyway, that is totally an impulse to shout that i have around you, too!

There's a girl who works at the gas station by my house. She seems cool and I don't know how to say "Hey, let's hang out" without seeming weird or like a lesbian.

i'm in the dumps about having slept through today. now that winter's over i have a reason to TRY to be a sees-the-sunlight diurnal kid.

i wish you could come to school in los altos. it can be so very lonely, even when i am sleeping in the sun or talking to strangers/goats.

Fremont is barely half an hour away. My car is in mostly working order, and I'm taking my driving test in the upcoming weeks. I'll certainly have my license before summer is here. When do you have class? Would you want to be stolen one day when you're free, or after class? I've been desperately lonely lately, and I've missed your company.

in the coming quarter (beginning of april) i actually won't have any classes at the campus (all online, i just decided). i certainly HOPE to have my license before summer, but i was saying this last spring.

i agree, though. somehow, we will hang.

at random yesterday i went around to your and everbody's myspace pages. it made me happy, not nostalgic, except for a couple of photos. it's amazing that so many of you all still know each other, from high school.
