I should be asleep. Have to get up at 7 tomorrow. Ah, the joys of being employed...another of the (oh so many) "perks" of working is I constantly smell of goo gone, this stuff I use to clean books at the library. I guess family type moments are hard to time, they're spontaneous. Although, i have to say i don't think we've ever had one in public or with friends! Awkward is the word. Poor char!
Word of caution, when you take your mum to watch LOTR be prepared for LOTS of repeated questions. At least that was the case with dad. He asked us who Frodo was at least 10 times, and lost track of the plots within 15 minutes or so. He looked so lost! Parents can be so adorable sometimes.
