Niki, I am giving you all I know how to give right now, a mental hug and shot of the strongest, best Irish whiskey you can think of. If only I were there to do it in person. You honestly have no idea how much I missed you and how much I worried about you while you were gone, and I just about fell out of my chair when you commented on my lj out of nowhere. You have an amazing light to you that I never want to see extinguished, and I wish with all of my heart that I could be closer to you to be your punching bag or whatever you would need me to be. I love you, babe, and I want you to know I read every word of the chronicles as far and was spellbound. I never would have the balls to just up and go like that no matter how much I wanted to. There's so much I admire about you, believe that. I am extremely interested in what you have to say. Seriously. Please don't stop telling your story. If you don't want to continue, obviously that's okay. But I think it's really interesting and I connect to it on a personal level, if you believe me. My boyfriend has been homeless for probably two or three years now, in Athens. I have been trying my damnedest to get him out of that situation, and starting in June we're getting an apartment together. I am just really interested to see what you have to say, that's all. Are you in Nelsonville now? Or somewhere else? Another state or Ohio? Maybe if you're around here I'll see you around (if I would even recognize you...)

The morbidness doesn't worry me. I try to comment when I can, but I'm not checking things much at the moment, being in the US. I've just gotten through your last few posts, filled in a few of the gaps that I didn't know about.

Hope things are doing better since we last talked. Had a big scare with April today (it involved an ER visit that scared the living crap out of me) but she's okay, thank god.

I'll send you an e-mail when I get back (Tuesday week).

well here i am with my thumb up my ass. i usually respond with feelings and then have no way of translating them to words.
anyway, narrating cold hard facts sucks. just pour out whatever is inside of you into words (it feels so good) and your story will come out in the process.

good luck reconstructing yourself. at least you have a clean slate. something i wish i had.
