Speaking of self-fulfilling prophecies

So, my schedule for the coming semester is shaping up to be pretty hectic. I'll be taking two work-intensive courses in other departments, Stats and Linguistic Anthropology: 6 hours of lecture a week. I know exactly what you mean. For myself, I always feel like no matter how many things I have on my plate, I'm always going to let one of those things slide - If I only have one responsibility, I will procrastinate and fuck around until it gets done, if it gets done at all, in a half-assed, slipshod way. But if I have twelve things to do, and only one of them gets back-burnered... well, at least I have an excuse, right? I am Very Very Busy!

Yours is actually probably better, because if you are going to be stressed and overwhelmed at least you are productive. And I look forward to hearing more about your QP, particularly the funding search once it gets to that stage!
