So, I went to the NYC Pride Parade this past Sunday. The mood was ecstatic. Perhaps the most moving part was seeing all the signs about marriage that had to be hastily created/amended after Friday's vote, or those that had such a different meaning before and after. For instance, one couple marched carrying a sign that said, "Engaged for 30 years.

It is a really good fit! I hadn't even thought about that. But then, there were a lot of drag queens and others in all sorts of fabulous dresses and shoes--so maybe a wedding dress wasn't too difficult, after all!
