Wtf kind of physics class requires that much calculus? Its probbly like saying you cant take it beccause you dont know trig, even though it uses only one concept (a very simple one at that). I heard over here our music theory class is wicked hard and the teacher is a douche.

The guy said you need to know Alg 2 and Trig. You can get away with not knowing trig, but he said they use a lot of Calculus and are usually a semester ahead of the calculus courses in terms of the things they use.

He said it would be a very 'foolish' choice to stay in the class with any previous or current calc classes, and recommended people look into 'genera physics' which is an algebra-based physics course..

I'm probably going to try to switch into something that doesnt have a 3-hour lab every week... and a cheaper book.
