Yeah. It's the pali text for "Om Mani Padme Hum," THE most important Tibetan mantra. It means, "The Jewel Is In The Lotus," metaphor for the ability for humans to transcend their base nature and reach enlightenment. I have faith in humanity after all the shit that happens, and I'd also like it as a reminder of the Buddhist path. I'm not exactly an adherent but it makes a lot of sense to me and I try to follow some of the "guidelines." Plus it looks damn cool. ha

stina gonna get tattoo's and more piercings? XD i got just my ears repierced a few weeks ago, and i haven't been keeping up with cleaing them daily, LoL. well, i did for the first week, and a few days of the second, and now i've just completely stopped. >_>

anyhoo... that tattoo looks neat, and the meaning is pretty neat, too. XP

Hey root! Yeah I remember this as your lj name. This will be my first tattoo. But not last if I can help it. >:D

Ear piercings aren't that hard to take care of, especially if they're only on the lobe. I wouldn't worry about it, unless you have sensitive ears like me. I've seen some pretty grodey industrial piercings tho. o.o!
