I'm a sucker for a nice, awkward geek. It's something I should probably address at some point (Connor in Primeval, Tosh in Torchwood, Jess also from Primeval, Sweets in Bones, Wes in Angel/Buffy, Fred in Angel...the list continues to a dangerous level of geek obsession!)

Glad you think I got him right, though. I was worried about that (as I am whenever I write a new character for the first time)

I loved that moment in 'Chryed Domestic Week' when Tamwar just turns 'round and gives Syed this really awkward hug. I HAD to recreat that - it would have been a travesty if I hadn't! I also absolutely adored how you could tell he was uncomfortable, but he was telling Syed not to force Christian to stop being affectionate on his behalf. Gah, he's just...gah!

Okay, I'm stopping the senseless Tamwar love right here...in a minute...gimme a few seconds...

Scratch that, I loved that whole episode when Tamwar came 'round for tea...including, and especially focusing on, the way that Zainab just screams 'MAS!' up the stairs to tell him that dinner's ready. Love for Nina Wadia = officially multiplied at that moment.
