Well, this is going to be long, but here's the day to day journal I kept from my camping trip, taken straight from real paper!

Well tonight was fun, in a terrible kind of way. Sam, Shannon, the Amanda's, Tyler, Arwen and I went to the Rooftop above the Sticky Wicket, then to Plan b. So today the laptop I borrowed from Phil completely died and won't turn back on, right after dad found a wireless internet card too. I'm really irked about that, but whatever, at least I have my 60 GB video playing mp3 player, right? Only sort of right. Seems I leave for camping in two weeks. It will be awesome! ...except for the point I'll have no computer/internet for three weeks, that is going to suck so much it'll hurt. Unless of course I can find a laptop with wireless internet; however, I don't see that happening. Poop.

Sweet! I just got a $5,000 scholarship! First year of UVic paid for! *bounces around*

YES!!! I finally subscribed to New Scientist! I now get wonderful nerdy updates once a week in the form of a shiny magazine. Michelle is pleased. She also has a brilliant toothbrush holder complete with UV light to kill off all those nasty GERMS she hates oh so much! She also got a super awesome set of sticky notes! Well, this is rather lame. I don't want to sleep yet 'cause then I'll sleep too much, but all of the websites I check to waste mass amounts of time (i.e. Suicide Girls and Facebook) are down for maintenance! It's been nearly two weeks, I still don't have my new VISA card. I phoned the VISA humans, they said it had shipped, and to check the bank to see if it went there. I have absolutely zero days I can go to the bank before it closes, and if my card IS lost in the mail, I have to cancel THAT one, and get ANOTHER new one and hope that one makes it to ( Read more... )

ZOMG!!! I am so excited! They're making an encyclopedia of life!. It will have everything ever! All 1.8 million species documented, and they're scanning all available literature ever recorded about each species as well! *Bounces* in about ten years I will have all the information recorded in the history of ever about every species on this ( Read more... )

Well yesterday kind of stank. It was gross out, Arwen wasn't in class (which equals boredom), and I woke up to my brain playing this:
