I noticed that you made a fanfic resolution to post a new part to this every month. I really hope you succeed with that because this is a wonderful fic, very original and fresh. It is almost too agnsty for my tastes but the quality of the writing and the promise of the story make up for that.

Oh, believe me, it's too angsty for me as well. It was supposed to be a quiet little one-shot about Liz and Max having to be grown-ups and, y'know, actually deal with the decisions they made in the last two seasons. Liz, however, decided the best way to accomplish character and relationship growth would be to make everyone drown in their collective misery for twenty chapters and then maybe start worrying about a plot. My sincerest apologies for that. The angst (or at least the overt, woe-is-me angst) should be ending pretty soon. Hopefully. :/

I'm so glad you're enjoying it otherwise, though. :) When my muse agrees, writing and editing this story is more fun than any free activity should be. As soon as I force myself to sit down and work on this, I'll be chinking away at the two chapters I have yet to deliver to '09.

Thanks so much for taking the time to fb on my fic! I loved checking out your lj. And I promise I will never make you read any lengthy passages about Liz smelling like any kind of berry. *giggle*
