As I mentioned in a previous post, I've been playing around with Photoshop the last few days, trying to learn different techniques. Here's a sample of the results so far:

Thanks! I'm a big fan of your graphics, so it's pretty awesome that you think these are okay.

Hee, those are some of my favourites, too. Although whenever I look at #17, I always get the song from Team America stuck in my head...

Sometimes I see really awesome icons (8, 9, and 17 in particular) and wish I used them for more than football season. But then I realize that if I did, I'd spend all my time looking at all the pretty, pretty icons and no time reading or posting or commenting.

In conclusion: pretty!

Heh, well we wouldn't want to distract you from posting or commenting, so it's probably for the best. Glad you like them (esp. #8 - had you in mind for that one).

Wow! I'm so impressed that you've only been playing around with Photoshop and produced these. Please feel free to make more--we need more funny icons. I really liked 6, 11, 14 and the fact that you did a Lily and Nigel icon. There simply aren't enough icons of secondary characters. Great job!

Why thank you! There was certainly a pretty steep learning curve. I went from never having opened Photoshop before, and searching for like half an hour to figure out how to resize a picture, to making these within about a week. I'm quite pleased with myself! *g*
