doesnt matter if it were dogs - someone was saved and someone was there to save someone - thats a good news and brings motivation and hope to others...

Exactly! You don't know how many people are complaining that effort has been spent on rescuing pets...as of you would pass by a living creature that needed help because it wasn't human!!!

I'm so glad to hear that. That video, among many others, made me cry.

It's awesome that they were able to rescue so many of the chicks. Here, where I live, is probably one of the biggest stops for migratory birds on the Eastern seaboard. I can't imagine what the impact of a natural or man made disaster would be....

Hopefully the chicks had at least one parent survive. They're probably not set up to raise all of those little guys by themselves.

Although if anything would motivate them to do so, I would think that this disaster would.
