 An interesting story forwarded to RK today. It comes from a Delta Captain who arrived at Narita airport right as the earthquakes hit. Narita is the airport that most of the commercial passenger traffic uses. It is about an hour train ride into Tokyo. Wow.
I really just can't imagine what it took to get all those planes rerouted in the middle of a disaster that we all know--though those on the planes wouldn't have at the time--was of such hugely catastrophic proportions.
