One week of internship left. I just got back from Florida, they sent interns from across the world to florida for the weekend. Not bad, except I haven't had a good night's sleep in two weeks. Hello from Cleveland! I am at my Ernst & Young training with over one hundred other interns. Its a pretty good time. I'm getting paid way too much money to sit on my butt and play with the computer they gave me. Well I am expensing every charge on my corporate credit card. Yea, EY is insane. Well I got the shock of the year last night. I was at my Honors Program banquet and they start announcing the winners of the senior awards. thats cool, i like the seniors. then the director starts talking about the one award they give to juniors, and its a scholarship award. he goes on and on listing qualities and in my head i'm thinking, that'd ( Read more... )

Home in exactly two weeks! Amazing. Anyways, the end of the semester is rearing its ugly head. I spent the past weekend working on a giant tax case, and it feels so good to finish the damn thing. I can't wait to be home! But I am going to NYC to see my sister next weekend. It'll be good. But man, I can't wait to be home.

I'm in a state of shock right now. I got my official offer from Ernst & Young delivered by FedEx today. They are going to pay me $3,816.00 per month to be an intern this summer. Plus, if I work over 40 hours per week, I get overtime. This is nuts. On a sidenote, I think I will buy a car this summer.

I got passed through to the second round for PWC Buffalo! Now I just have to wait to hear from the Buffalo office... I can't wait!

Oh and I also got passed though to the second round for KPMG NYC. Which I don't really care about but Its a nice ego boost.

I have an offer already! I interviewed yesterday with Ernst & Young at 8:30 in the morning. By 3:30 the recruiter called me and gave me an offer for a summer internship. No second round, nothing. Just a flat out offer. Incredible! Now I still have my top choice firm interview in about 2 hours, so wish me luck on that. I'm feeling so much less ( Read more... )
