By random chance I found out today that 逄 is spelled "pang" instead of "feng". Luckily his name wasn't mentioned in chapter 325. Whew.

(Wikipedia says Pang Ji, and I checked a dictionary, which also says pang. This Chinese wiki says there have been recording error that left two versions of the name, but both should be pronounced as "pang ( Read more... )

Man, after all the praise from readers and Chen Mou himself, the sidestory "Yi De" is kind of a let down. It's probably great in terms of language (so many fancy words and poetic writing), but the wordplay (a lot of mere repeats from the original) and plot contrivance are disappointing...
