Shi had hoped that meeting Squall's old friend would make Squall happy. Like seeing Gigei made hir and Yasha happy. But Squall wasn't happy, even though the new people were nice people. He and his old friend weren't hugging like shi and Gigei hugged. And the two red-eyed demon-men weren't happy that their friend was talking with Squall.
Whispering to Yasha shi asked what was going to happen.
"Squall will talk for a little bit and then we'll go someplace warm."
"Will there be food?"
"Yes."
"Yasha? Why aren't they happy to see Squall?"
"They don't know Squall. They don't know he's nice yet."
"The one in the middle reminds me of Kujaku. He has the same pretty eyes. Can I play with him?"
"Maybe after we find someplace to stay for the night, and if he says it's okay."
With a wiggle shi jumped from Yasha's arms and ran to the nearest red-eyed demon-man, grabbing his arm and tugging on his long red cloak, staring up into his eyes and making a note to braid his long hair for him. "Can I play with you? Yasha said I can play with you if you wanna play and you were laughing! Do you wanna play?"
Spinning shi pointed at the violet eyed man and jumped up and down excitedly. "You have the same eyes as Kujaku! Are you his brother? Will you come play with us?"
The red-eyed man just stared at hir, muttering. "I don't even *know* you!"
Shi met his stupified eyes with hir own golden ones and pointed to hirself purposefully. "I'm Ashura. That's Yasha and Squall and Quistis and Rain and Kitten. What's your name?"
".......Chaos?"
Shi heard Yasha laughing and tugged harder on the demon-man's cloak, wanting him to pick her up. "Now you know me! Can we play now? Squall plays really good hide-n-seek. I'm the only one who can find him! Do you wanna play hide-n-seek?"
