Said keybearer of dawn was currently walking down the street, stomach grumbling as he contemplated getting a sandwich for himself. Sora was off doing who-knows-what, and Kairi was at the hospital working...so he decided to head out for some fresh air and some time alone ( ... )

"Dank?" The Nocturne pouted a little, thinking it not such a fair description of a city where it only really rained on one street. "Awww, its not that bad!" He shrugged with a light grin, and glanced out towards the front a bit, peering down Mercy Street, to see if there were any newcomers in the gutter ( ... )

Ansem had to debate with the boy at the description of the city. In both an emotional view, and a scientific view, this place was an equivalentto a dump. The air was fowl, the sky was all smog, there was no sun and no light from anything but the electronics in the first place. The water tasted of iron and chemicals. The food.... well the food was much better. Even the icecream tasted funny! "Well, you must realize, dear Demyx. I do come from a world based on the surrounding element of light. It is hard to adapt to one so... polluted and.... dank." He nodded. "Yes. Dank ( ... )

Riku half-smiled at the Nocturne, raising a hand slightly in hello. It was odd, to see himself as acquaintances-friends with a former Nobody, a former enemy. Then again, he barely had known Demyx, simply a name without a face until the battle at Hallow Bastion, and Sora was the one to kill him.

"Hi, Demyx," he said lightly, walking towards the counter, slightly hesitant now. They seemed to be talking of other things. "Well...I was...I'll get the sandwich, if that's alright. And a water, please?"

The silver haired teenager looked at Ansem and gave a low nod, like a bow, of respect to the wise man. "I am, thank you. And yourself?" He slightly smiled. "I have heard that you're quite busy."

After a successful meeting with The Board, Light now had himself and apartment and a job. Thankfully, he'd been given a day to settle into his place -- not that he had very many things to let settle...yet ( ... )

The door swung open again, the bar having gone from empty to full in a matter of minutes, but the boy who strode briskly up to the bar seemed to pay little mind to the crowd at first, spare for skirting his eyes to the end stool, his usual spot, which was currently occupied by a stranger ( ... )

Light took note of all those at the bar, including the newcommer that took the seat beside him. So far, he hadn't really acknowledged anyone, as he hadn't planned to, instead just listening to those chatting, trying to pick up on what seemed like useful information. Anything about Metropolis, anything about the people and who lived her; anything anybody knew, Light wanted to know too.

As it appeared, the man next to him knew the tender quite well, or was just very friendly and sociable. Either way, Light paid close attention while still keeping an ear tuned on any outside conversation that could hold his interest.

Did I cut?It took a moment for Light to realise that it was he who was being spoken to and he blinked, turning his attention to the...young man - as it seemed upon further notice - and raised his brows curiously. "Hmm?" he hummed, before Ienzo's words registered, and he shook his head. "Oh, no, it's alright, I hadn't decided yet, anyhow," he said with a small, but friendly smile. He decided not to mention that he'd never ( ... )

"Well...pardon me anyway," Ienzo returned hastily, blue eye skimming over the taller boy with a slightly pained look, out of politeness. "It was...rude of me, in any case. I'm in here often, and sometimes it slips my mind ( ... )
