Everyone made their way back here at one point or another. No one really understood why. Not even she did. It was just an urge to walk back to the rain, back to the place in which you appeared in this new world, and just walked through the rain. It always felt really good, to walk through here and just let the cool, clean water wash away all of your sins. It was a good place as well to think.

Glancing up at the sign, she let the water spray on her face, and wondered deep thoughts and secrets no one else would hear.

Master... you always told me I had a great lesson to learn.... Why didn’t you tell me what I was to learn before you.... Her throat clenched, and she shook away the feeling of tears to walk further into the rain. Her dress soaked, and silver locks plastered to her face. she felt a bit like a banshee in the darkness of the rain ( ... )

Thinking back on it, she really should have taken something for her horns. It would have made the half naked girl look less disturbing, though there were little to no people around. Lucy walked with her hands at her sides, not looking cold at all, despite being wet, barefooted, and practically naked ( ... )

Those ear like structures did not at all phase her. She had seen stranger beings with larger horns. (Ifrit was a perfect example.) Honestly nothing should surprise her anymore. However, walking around in a jacket? Not the best idea. Not in this town. It would be something she would regret, but the woman looked cold. She drew the large cape that was draped over her shoulders, still soaked but it was very waterproof so it was dry on the inside. Drawing out the tassels from it’s hidden pockets she offered it.

“Walking around in that small jacket isn’t a good idea.. this would cover your legs...” Her dress on the inside was still pretty dry, the bottom drenched, but she was ok. Her feet were always cold anyway. Giving a soft smile, Alma tried to convince the woman who just arrived she meant no harm. Something cold bit from her voice, and it scared her a bit.

She hates you. She thinks you’re human. You should kill her and convince her otherwise... hehehehe... Alma’s eyes twitched at the mental note, but blocked it out. That voice was ( ... )

Lucy looked at the offered cape, looking the fabric up and down, then at the woman. The Diclonius appeared confused perhaps, but her eyes showed nothing but anger and the bitter cold that her body felt from the rain. Who was this girl, who waltzed up and tried to be so friendly? Did she want to be killed?

"I didn't have much of a choice," she muttered at first. Did she think that Lucy wanted to walk around in a jacket? It was the only thing with the least amount of blood that the man could offer now...though the rats would enjoy his body that night.

She sighed, a bit of her hair flopping in front of her eyes. No hotels, no one to help. Nothing. With a soft growl only audible to herself, two vectors were already out.

What is the point of you, dear human, if you can't offer any sort of assistance? The hands flew outwards, going to rip the silver haired girl in two. They could very easily, but her eyes widened and they stopped only a few inches from Alma's face ( ... )

The look of a preppy had faded from her face. The persona of a cold hearted woman soon replaced, far more sadistic and hateful than before. She despised, despised being called a human ( ... )

Lucy stood there, eyes almost unblinking as she watched this girl, this monster head back into her hole with the red bird and disappear. The instructions rang in her head, but she dared not follow them. Another lab? No, thank you, she had had enough of them in one lifetime.

Turning and leaving the apartment complex, her vectors disappeared from their constant positions around her, leaving the Diclonius to walk outside in bare feet, not caring what touched her skin. She was livid with rage, that this girl would so...openly...ugh.

Walking down the street, she continued on until she could find the nearest apartment complex, making sure it was empty before entering it. She easily found a window to slip into, and she made herself right at home in a cozy apartment apparently made for a couple.

Finding some sort of peace in the bed, she laid down and bundled herself up in the covers.

...This world needed to be changed. Humans needed to leave her the hell alone.
