[What] One of those awkward, dinner-with-the-parents sort of things? Only not quite. Oh dear.

The bell gave its too-merry chime, a sound that startled him slightly, because they usually didn't have any visitors other than the occasional drop in from Sora or Riku, to 'check in' on Namine. (Even though they very obviously didn't have to, and it usually won them both sidelong, possessive warning glares throughout the stay, but Prydain tolerated it because they were her friends, and nothing more. Thankfully they never stayed long ( ... )

Prydain studied his maker's face carefully for first impressions, Vexen's approval meaning a bit more to the replica than he let on.

And he didn't say anything about Namine taking a little longer than expected, which was...also good. So far, so good. He closed the door behind them, and have a cheek-puffed exhale to clear away nerves. What was he so nervous for, anyhow?

"...Oh?" He responded carefully, frowning when the trouble with projects came up. Prydain knew he couldn't really understand half of what Vexen meant when he talked about his science, but he was interested enough to listen and pretend like he could. "I didn't know you were working on medicine now."

He gave a funny glance to the flowers, and then a quizzical squint back to the man. Why those? Namine, after all, worked tending flowers, and certainly had enough of them during the day, but...oh well. They'd go on the coffeetable, and Prydain rummaged in the cabinets for an empty jam jar, which was just tall enough to support the small, delicate bouquet ( ... )
