Um, I have a feeling that the only thing that I'll be able to say at the end of the episode is this, and so I'm saying it now:

DARRYL! ILU!

ETA: CREED! YOU TOO!

ETA 2: JIM! I didn't think I could love you more, and then I did. And JAN!

God, I love this show.

ETA 3: TWoP is recapping The Office now? I am incredibly unsure how I feel about this ( Read more... )

Oh God. Ok, so, Wing Chung is hilarious, but... yeah. Um. I had to stop reading TWOP way, WAY back in the day (and I mean when LJ was still a baby and most of Smallville fandom and GG fandom and stuff were all based on the message boards) because they were so fucking bitter and hateful about the shows. Like... no thanks. I want to squee at least a little, y'know?

NO NO, I know exactly what you mean. I used to love TWoP... I found it during the first season of Smallville, back when the recaps were, like, jokey, and now they're all... yeah, bitter and hateful is a great way to describe it. I read the first recap for The Office, and it was exactly that... a recap. No real color commentary. I can live with that. (TWoP actually kind of ruined Supernatural for me. That makes me sad.)

Daryl is exactly what Kelly needs to give her a good metaphorical kick in the ass and put her in her place. Love him.

And Jim with the comforting Dwight in the stairwell? I can't even put into words how perfect that moment was.

I love this show so much right along with you! :)

"I'm in love with Italian food." OH WOW.

*loves so hard*

Everything about this entire episode was so awesome. And Jan! Who knew Jan could be, like, a human being? WOW.

I'm glad they showed her human side again. I always liked her and then she went and got all nutso. Glad to see her normal side is still hidden in there somewhere.

I could NOT be any more in love with this show right now. Michael's 'Powerpoint demonstration'...Andy's ongoing seduction of Angela...Kelly and Daryl...the shocking (to me) ending that made me think Jan and Michael might actually work as a couple...Oscar's analysis of Michael's finances...more feral barn cat goodness.... Love.

And now I want to convert a room in my apartment to an 'Irrigation' theme. I really, really do.

DWIGHT ACTUALLY READ THEM A BEDTIME STORY.

THIS SHOW COULD NOT POSSIBLY BE MORE AWESOME.

OMG - I forgot about the bedtime story! It would even have been funny if they'd just left it at them requesting one when Dwight asked them about "dietary concerns, etc" at check-in. But then they actually DID it.

I also love that they're committed to HP references, but (obviously because it would be too bothersome/expensive) they had him read a passage that wasn't actually from an HP book. Also, I'm guessing the no-cover copy of DH was also for copyright reasons. Good lord, I'm a dork.
