This reminds me of the time I decided to adopt a pole (i.e. lamppost) in high school. When we graduated, I wrote something like "Hi, my name is Vladimir. Please take care of me" on a ribbon and wrapped it around the pole. Of course, trees are way less dorky than lampposts... and a heck of a lot more alive.

Also, my friend Declan told me today about people who leave paper cranes in random places in this one town. I would gladly live in a town that had paper cranes and named trees. It would be Norarific!

Is Vladimir Polish? (Sorry, it had to be asked.) The trees were pretty dorky too. I need to get a better look at their poems.

Man, that's awesome about the paper cranes. I would like to do that. I used to leave them around my office at the New Vic, but I think I've told you about that already. I saw one the other day on a cash register someplace, and I was happy.

Yes... a pole-ish Pole.

Perhaps I should start leaving paper cranes around the Supreme Court. I do have a lot of candy wrapper cranes around my desk already...

I think you suggest a worthy mission. Go forth and multiply (or at least divide paper into folds)!
