So I have to admit that I was feeling rather hermit-y the other day and wished I could just crawl back in bed instead of heading up north to Cottage Myers, but it was a lot of fun and I'm very glad I went. We ran around barefoot and buried ourselves in the sand dunes and watched both Petoskey and Harbor Springs' fireworks simultaneously. I learned

it was a damn good time. see, you don't need to buy things to feel better, you just need to do things. we'll keep on it. if all else fails, we still have a lot of sparklers left, and those little snappy thingies. i mean, how can you NOT have fun with stuff like that?
