fanfiction meme
Okay, I saw this in halfdutch's and liianna's journals, and you know me and memes; they're like my crack.
I also included a fanfic author rec because the meme asked for my favorite author and I couldn't say just one. If you're interested in some CSI (Sara/Nick), CSI: Miami (Calleigh/Eric), Gilmore Girls (Lorelai/Luke), Highlander (just one story, but it's a good one), La Femme Nikita (all kinds), Law & Order: SVU (mostly Elliot/Olivia), Lost (some gen, mostly have something to do with Sawyer), NCIS (gen, and all possible pairings of Kate), and Without a Trace (not much yet), feel free to check it out.
CSI
I pretty much only read Nick/Sara. The majority of those stories are ones I've read on ff.net and are fluffy and basically brain candy, not really worth reccing.
I do like _astralis, though. Some of her work is here, and her ff.net link is here.
I also like DarkDreamer56 because oh so much lovely angst.

I only read Calleigh/Eric, because even contemplating anything else in this fandom makes me a bit queasy.
Alethialia--all on LJ (that I've read, anyway)
Miranda Fox--warning, Apalachicola is quite good, but unfinished. A chapter was updated this month, though, which gives me hope for its eventual completion.
sombras_azules--some on LJ, most I read at ff.net under Carolina in the Cantina.

I listed most of these with the pairing(s) of theirs that I read, although I'd assume most of these authors have written other pairings, as I've found this fandom to be rather fluid in that respect.
cmere--Jack/Sawyer. I've only read a couple of these stories, but they were good. It also seems like there's not much recent work in the Lost fandom (which is fine for me as I haven't read much recently! *grin*), but a handful of good stories can be found here.
demonqueen666--particularly Metamorphosis (general twisted supernatural type fic, but with some K/S) at fanfic.net.

I really haven't read all that much in this fandom. I read some interesting Samantha/Martin by SusanWATfan at Destined to, but I haven't been there since February. _astralis has written a couple of M/S ones as well at ff.net. I read two great fics (Martin centered) called The Kiss, and Fragile by the same author but there is no link directly to the author that I can find. I've been meaning to read some Danny/Martin, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. (If anyone reading this has any suggestions of good stories/authors, feel free to rec them, just be aware, that I'm insanely picky when it comes to grammar/basic writing skills and characterization.)
