I think I’m destined to become a cat lady.

Ah, do I ever feel that.

I truly believed that all of the inanimate objects around me had feelings and talked and moved whenever I wasn’t in the room. (I still sort of do. Damn you Toy Story!)\

My boyfriend has a buddy who truly believes computers are living, sentient beings with souls and everything. It...kind of freaks me out.

There have been a few television shows that have had that as a premise for an episode, and they did freak me out. Of course, who am I to talk? *grin*

Hair: did you think you were playing with Photoshop, by any chance? *laughs* anyway, it's happened to me the last (and only) time I dyed my hair, it's awuful.

I am an incredible procrastinator. I need a rapidly approaching deadline to infuse me with enough adrenaline to focus my mind.

Okay! Let's see if this work, you have a week starting from Sunday, to write at last one of the WaT Four Season recap. If you don't do it there will be hell to pay (I'll leave to your imagination what kind of hell *grin*).

. From my father, I got the “packing gene”

This is quite useful, I don't know from whom I got it, but I can pack easily and neatly.

When I was a kid, I anthropomorphized everything. I truly believed that all of the inanimate objects around me had feelings and talked and moved whenever I wasn’t in the room. (I still sort of do. Damn you Toy Story!)Did you ever watch one of those Horror b-movies about evil/possesed dolls? *shudder* I never had a doll when I was a child (I played with toy guns *grin*) and still now they scare me ( ... )

Between you and two other requests that I heard for recaps, I got the impetus to start again. I'm partway through the last episode and should finish it by this weekend sometime. Yay!

Dolls bored me. I pretty much stuck with books and games throughout my childhood. I'm not a big horror movie fan, so I haven't seen those movies. I did used to watch a television show called Friday the 13th: The Series which was about all of these cursed objects, and once the cursed object was a ventrioquist's dummy that killed people. That was one of the scariest of the episodes because the doll just looked so freaky.

By the way, interesting meme ( ... )

Okay, I had decided not to do this because I didn't have a single clue of what I should put into it, but reading yours I found several analogies that are tempting me... to actually write it (maybe next week)and see what comes out.
Just to mention: I might copy fully or partially yours in points n. 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 20.

I'll do it with yours as a model, if it is okay with you.*g*

Go ahead and copy/model! (I was inspired for a few of mine after reading those of other people so I'd be quite hypocritical if I had a problem with it.) I can't wait to read yours. (Of course, considering that I still haven't finished the fanfiction meme, I really have no right to pester you to fill out a meme. *grin*)

How cool!

1. Ooh, that's really generous of you. Straight hair, then?

2. Unfortunately, I hadn’t put the dark brown completely down to my roots because I didn’t want a dark skull, but I did put the other two colors all the way to the roots.
LOL.

was accepted to the “Take 5” program at the University of Rochester where I got a fifth year tuition free to study something outside my major. I created a program centered on medieval/early Renaissance Britain. (I don’t remember all that much from this either, but it was a heck of a lot more fun.)

Now that? Sounds like much more fun indeed than pre-med. Then again, you're talking to a History major IB candidate. *g*

Does your ADD make you multitask easily? My little cousin has it as well.

I’ve officially worked with kids for almost eight years and I am pretty damn good at it (not to be immodest), but I really am not so fond of children and don’t want any of my own.
The Paradox of Meredith ;-). But hey, my mom had me at 39. You have time, *g*.

I need a rapidly approaching deadline to ( ... )

When it's long, it's more straight than when it's short. It has a bit of wave to it, but the length weighs it down.

I've always loved science, but I was a little burned out by it, so this appealed to me.

Yup. I'm a master at multitasking. At least that's one good thing about it!

I have the EXACT same problem - except in my case the procrastination is due to extreme perfectionism, and I just CANNOT start a paper if the stress or deadline isn't there. And then they ask me why I always finish my papers at 7 am. However, it really aggravates me and I WOULD like to avoid the stress, but it's just..not feasible.I'm a bit of a perfectionist too. I kept telling myself throughout my high school/college years that this is the time I wasn't going to do it. That vow made it through the ( ... )

"the cast member that wasn't"

That is without a doubt the COOLEST CONTEST EVER, because Irina and Miss Parker? Just slipped in there? Hee.

Which is your second?

I didn't think you'd get the Miss Parker one. I did Irina, Miss Parker, and Nikita (the orange-red-ish one on the bottom row (second or third in)). I think I did a pretty good job making it look like the people were all in the same original picture. (Well, the Miss Parker one is a bit off, but I think I did a pretty good job with the other two. *grin*)

(And check out my new icon. blessed_beast made some Jack/Irina icons just for me! I uploaded a few of them. I really wanted a just Irina icon, but I'll take what I can get.
