I want to know if anyone actually did it before it was ruled that it could not be done or whether it was a pre-emptive ruling. (I mean, I can't say I wasn't tempted when I was younger to mail my younger sister somewhere far, far away, but I can't see anyone actually following through with it!)

I've started a mission to force myself to be more positive. So tonight I read fanfic for the first time in awhile and actually got a bit excited about it, remembering what I used to really enjoy. I'm going to try to continue that positive stuff. That means that I'll probably be looking back through past fanfic posts. I think I'm missing 2 Shades of Grey chapters and the CSI story, right? At first I didn't read the CSI story because I hadn't done the icons of the lyrics that I had said I was going to do, then I didn't read it because I'd pretty much stopped reading fanfic. I can't do anything about the former, as I've given icon-making a break, but I'm bound and determinied to try to do something about the latter. So, hopefully (or maybe not so hopefully?) you'll soon be sick of me again. *grin*

Yeah, you're missing two SoG and that CSI ficlet I gave you for Christmas. I'm glad to hear you're getting back into fanfic reading and that you're feeling more positive as well. Looking forward to your commentary on those missing bits then, whenever you can get around to it ^_^

I was just calmly reading along, interested, but not too excited, when I read that and I laughed out loud. I so had to post it. I read yours; it was pretty interesting too. I have to say, I'm sort of enjoying reading these on everyone's LJ. As someone (eponine119, actually, coincidentally enough based on my next post!) said, it's an interesting look into people's thoughts to see what they choose to post out of all of the options that appear.
