Thanks to everyone who left kind words and well wishes on my last post. I had meant to respond individually with comments when I had good news; however, there isn't really any good news. Midnight came home Thursday night, but he relapsed again. We brought him back to the vet Saturday morning, and the vet put him through surgery ($700 worth) ( Read more... )

I'm so, so sorry to hear about Midnight that I don't know where to start. What i didn't get is what can stress him so much in your home, unless it is something linked to the other cat. As it's impossible to get the cat back and have him surviving, I wish that they can find a good adoption for him. I know how heartbreaking the whole thing is being for both of you. If you need to vent it out more deeply, I'm there for you.
That being said, I'm hugging you and your sister very very tight. I love you as my friend, and I love animals, so this thing is letting me awfully sorry.

Being drunk mustn't be that fun, with the hangover. I wish your sister is getting some good sleep, now.

*hugs*

We don't know what is stressing him out so much either (or we would have obviously fixed it). He was secluded in a separate room and we were in there all of the time to be with him, but it wasn't enough.

Dana is supposed to be at the airport at 5:30am (which is why I didn't go back to bed after driving her home at 3:30) to get on a flight to Dallas. Unfortunately she hadn't packed anything. I keep waking her up, but at first she spouted gibberish at me and now she is just yelling at me to leave her alone. We have to leave in 7 minutes, and I would wager any amount of money that she is sprawled back across the bed. At first the drunk thing was humorous. Now it's getting to be damn annoying. I know that I'm the older, more responsible one, but still... Didn't she consider that it might be a bad idea to stay out until after 3am getting insanely drunk when she had an early morning flight? I'm off to go get yelled at revive her again.

Oh, and I forgot to add... Thanks for the hugs and support; they mean a lot. I just keep reminding myself that at least he's still alive for now.

And if you perhaps had the time to whip up a couple of icons for wat_icontest, I'd be rather in your debt, as there are only 8 entries so far. I feel so bad that I am not being as good a mod as I should be to that community right now, and I'm sure that's a factor in the low entries. *sigh*

Wow. Your sister had to catch a plane!! Well, I really wish she made it, with your help. How weird, I dreamt about not being able to pack and leave to catch a plane just this early morning, before waking up. I was on vacation and was late to go back home. I have to say that my dreams since I came back from London changed, they always deal with travels and stuff.

Ahem, I already finished one icon and I'm working on the second of the three I'll enter with. Already cropped. I knew about the deadline, and decided to do the work this morning, because before today I wasn't in the mood/had the time to make them.

The community is having less entries because 1.It's summer 2.WaT is a declining fandom, sad, but true. They are killing it on the screen, the shippers Sam/Martin have no future, the slashers have no future, the show is going to directions that don't belong to any of us, so don't feel guilty for that. Nonewhatsoever, okay?

I missed your initial post, but I am just so sorry to hear about your poor cat. I hope your cat recovers and the vet doesn't have to end up putting him down.

*hugs*
