When I was a kid, I adored Wonder Woman. I had the
Wonder Woman underoos, I dressed up as Wonder Woman for Halloween (I totally wish I'd grabbed a picture of me as such. Maybe I'll add it when I go to my mother's tomorrow), and I watched every episode of the Lynda Carter television show when it reran when I was a kid. I also have always adored

I like the characters Kit has forced me to read about.
I look forward to continue doing so."

(and I KNOW you're putting those Logan comics into your shrine)

Yup.
Yup.
:D
Nope! (I mean, they're library books after all, so even if I wanted to, I couldn't put them in a shrine.)
However, I may have scanned parts of them for decorations for my cozy brain nest. :D

I've heard of Saga, but didn't know much about it. I just looked it up, and it seems really intriguing. So that may be another one I might end up checking out. Thanks! :)

The library by my house has at least the first volume of Saga, so I think I'll check it out when I make it through the things I have now to read.

I've been eyeing the X-Men comics for a while now and I just didn't really know where to start and which ones would be good and what they'd be about etc. Until I finally borrowed some last week without really having much of an idea what I'm doing. But now here's a nice list of things with some details and impressions and things that can be useful.

There are some lists places that can help. Especially if you want to go through a particular character's stories. Like I did with the Wolverine ones. Let me know if you want any links.
Also, if you go off of this list, I tweaked it a little so it flowed better. House of M should be read before Messiah Complex. (And apparently there is a "Generation Hope" series that should be read before Messiah Complex too, but I didn't.)
I would recommend Astonishing X-Men (not so much the last one), New X-Men by Grant Morrison, and House of M, as general X-Men titles and decent places to start.

I don't really have any character in mind so that's not helping my quest. Because comics are just HOW DO YOU COMICS for me, my head starts spinning when I try looking.
Ok, good to know, thanks. :D
Sounds good, got it.

Yeah, that was pretty much me. And actually still is. I'm doing X-Men team right now. And then apparently Wolverine. And then possibly Emma Frost or Magneto family. After that, though, I'm going to be back to going "WTF do I do now?"
Good luck!

OMG, so much me! I hate reading things out of order. It's why I started with some that were more self contained series types. But now I'm looking at getting into some longer titles (there is one with Emma in it that I'm specifically looking at) and I'm like, uh, how do I enter this?
I heard some things about the DC New 52 that I wasn't fond of, so I don't know if I'll end up going into it much. Although, considering I haven't even made a dent in X-Men stuff, forget Marvel at large, I don't even know if I'd have the time to really start with DC. I want to get into comics, but wow, is this time-intensive!
