Winter

You can tell you have had insanely cold temperatures in winter when you go out on your lunch break and go "It's so warm/nice out here!" ... and it is 22 degrees (-6C).

In my defense it is also sunny. :P

winter, rl

That's a very typical Canadian thing....once it gets even slightly sunny/less freezing....we're all like "ooooooo! It's gorgeous out,"

Yeah. We're close enough to Canada that we have that experience too, apparently. :D (I still prefer my winters in the 30-40 degree range instead of the around 0/single digits range, though!)

It does! Sun and lack of wind. It was nice, as we were finally able to take the kids outside. (The last time we'd done that was the third, and the time before that was like two weeks earlier!) I'm used to wintery winters, but this one is ridiculous!

Ouch, that's a long time. I'm sure the kids went crazy inside, too.
Hopefully winter is getting milder from now on ;D

Brrr! The UK tends to grind to a halt when it gets much below freezing :)
