Food blogging fail

Being a food blogger is harder than I thought it would be - as you might guess, since I've barely done any of it since opening shop this summer. When the thermometer hit 110 degrees this July and stayed there, cooking lost a great deal of its appeal. As did, you know, moving. Hi M! I remember last autumn or several autumns ago your writing about this amazing pumpkin dish you made. I think you scooped out the inside and filled it with cheese and baked it or something like that and it sounded amazing!

Do you have a link to the recipe? Now that I have an oven I want to try it and small pumpkins are only 2.99 at the supermarket!

I was just thinking about this recipe today! In fact, I was just researching local pumpkin patches so I could pick the perfect pumpkin to make it with! So yes, I definitely have the recipe. It is pumpkin stuffed with everything good. The reviews have some really good ideas for variations, too. I like adding some white wine myself. The original post I made was here. Oh, and make sure you are getting a pie pumpkin and not a carving pumpkin! Carving pumpkins do not taste very good.

Totally. I find that sometimes stuff that looks like it may not taste good actually tastes really good. Appearances can be deceiving for sure.
