It's been a while but I thought I'll write a bit. I went to some awesome gigs lately: mars, skrillex, M83, etc. But the most awesome and perfect one was definitively White Lies. Their gig was just: wow!

Yeah I understand where you're coming from. They're one of those bands who are really awesome to see live when you know the songs and when you know what they're singing about. And indeed that connection. I dunno at the moment I'm just madly in love with them ;D Just watched a couple of interviews and they're so British and cute :D!

Oh btw, I'm reading stephen fry's autobiography right now. And it's awesome but thats not what I wanted to say xD I wanted to say that he mentions Rick Mayal quiet often at this point in the book. I immediately thought of you xD

glad you had a good time! and no pushing even makes it better xD i saw them at lowlands, also not from nearby but i agree with Suus, they seemed more like background music to me
But wouldve been great if they were mars support in antwerpen lol And those flask are funny.. did they also suggest what you put into it ? :P

haha no they didn't, I asked their merch-girl if anything was in the flask. She said unfortunately not :p

But yeah they were awesome, they're playing in Groningen on sunday. I really want to go and see them again, but tix are expensive and I unfortunately dont really have the time :(
