Today, on a whole, has been really cool. Hopefully the same can be said for you? In any case, I watched a great movie over the weekend, one that I probably should have seen before.

you know cody... isn't she a little old for you? or maybe way too old for you? or do you just like both ends of the spectrum?

ahem. i do like it, i'd agree it's not my favorite musical but it is incredibly good. and i like audrey better than i think i'd have liked julie andrews. but of course, i don't know so...

I think it would have been interesting to see ol' Julie playing Eliza... certainly it would have been wonderful to see it in it's original Broadway splendor. But the other casting suggestions for the movie were even more astounding- Eliza's father was almost played by James Cagney? Higgins was almost played by Cary Grant? I'm honestly glad that Cary Grant turned the role down (and, humorously, said that unless Rex Harisson was cast he wouldn't even go see it).

haha

yes, audrey is wonderful isn't she, and the question isn't of age tia but um, how do i put it delicately, availability...? cary grant? ew, that would've just been awkward, i'm glad you enjoyed it so much cody, it isn't my favorite musical either, and if you liked it you should definitely check out roman holiday, if just for sheer audreyness
