So, now having seen the latest installment of alice in wonderland, I realize... I've never read the book. Time to rectify this! *downloads free e-book since she can't get to the library tomorrow before work* Seriously though. My repertoire of classics is sadly lacking and mostly forgotten. The Count of Monte Cristo is one of the most amusing classics I've read. And it's a more modern classics, but I think you'd like Fahrenheit 451.

I second Fahrenheit 451.

Also, To Kill a Mockingbird is a classic, IMO. I'm kinda ticked because I can't find my copy and I want to read it again. I feel the urge to read it every couple of years.

I've got several copies of Pride and Prejudice if you want to borrow one. It is a particular fave of mine. I've got several of her other works as well.

I also love Three Musketeers. :)

Another interesting classic is Gulliver's Travels. The original is much different that what the popular media portrays and typically the only cover the first part. The mini series totally doesn't do it justice never mind it was liberally changed for to be more be more palatable to the target audience. <.< Yea you can tell that is a sore spot with me. :P ( ... )
