HELP!

I need to watch a costume drama. Right now.
Something with a ton of British accents and pretty dresses and what have you.

If you have any movie/book suggestions, DO tell!

I was thinking maybe Brideshead Revisited but I don't know if I'll be able to find it on the internet. And I'm not totally sure if its considered 'costume drama'...

Both The Duchess and The Young Victoria are fairly new, and you should be able to find them online streaming or for download. Not sure if you've seen either of them - but they're good. I'd suggest The Young Victoria over The Duchess.

Also - I know The Buccanners is really good. It's up on Youtube.

The Young Victoria looks interesting, only it doesn't come out in Canada till the 18th. I'll be sure to check out The Duchess.

I did watch Brideshead Revisited. I'm wondering though, if you've ever seen the 2008 version? I'm not quite sure what to make of it. I love Matthew Goode in the movie, but now, beginning to read the book, I'm not sure whether the movie is going to be quite accurate to the novel. I don't know...for some reason this film managed to confuse and intrigue me simultaneously.

I have not seen the new Brideshead Revisted - I've seen the old mini series, which is...basically perfection. If you ever get a chance to watch that version you really should.
