One Day at a Time

So this last 9 days has been about recovering from 3 days out in the forest, camping on some phamily land and enjoying the company, music, and sharing food, laughter, and good medicine. Fingers crossed on the disability issue. Why do you think you will be denied? Is it because of the nature of fibro?

Yes, the fact that fibromyalgia is still an unknown within the medical community, although there are more and more physicians who are believing that this is an actual condition, and are supporting the people who have it (you wouldn't believe the number of doctors who don't - or didn't used to when I was first diagnosed, that is ( ... )

unfortunately they almost always deny fibro claims on first try still :-(

Yeah, we are resigned to that, and are actually looking at is as "if it comes through then yay! we can breathe a little easier". I really stressed over it at the beginning, and both Rob and Rich have been very supportive in saying "hey, we are doing alright, if we get it we get it, if we don't we don't, we'll survive". This helps me a lot when it comes to my anxiety over it, but I know that when it finally does come through they will both breathe a lot easier.
