Lee, you really need to get that cat a playmate!!!! I honestly believe that he does this because he has noone else to play with all day long. Especially when doing double shifts. He is so excited to see you when you get home, he wants your full attention. I think he would really calm down ALOT. Think about it :) Just trying to help.

Nice to see you posting! I miss you so much! I have a psycho cat too. They just get in moods, hun. Get used to it! LOL We have to get together soon. I might pop into auditions tomorrow. Not to audition. More to offer my services the days I can get to faire. I think Micky wants to help build again. I've created a monster with that one! She is crazy about "sharp & pointies!!" and is sewing up a storm. I hope I get to see you soon. Love you!! xoxo M~

Hey Lee! :)
As the recent owner of 2 kittens - I feel youir pain. Literally. Your best bet is a playmate. It actually cuts down on food cost (they eat less when they have friends) and I'm assuming that your cat is a baby (mine are 8 and 5 months) they seem to keep each otehr out of trouble. The spray is a good idea, but unfortunately boy cats are thick. Whap him on the nose if you catch him at it. Whatever it is. a two finger swat on the nose is like dousing them in a bucket of water without the mess and will defitiely get your point across. Also, when they listen praise them! Get a bag of crunchies and give him one when you come home and things are ok. I am also out of the house often and this seems to work for me! :)
I know I've been off the radar for awhile, but I am around. If you want to email me I'm at Igora829 at Yahoo dot com.

Hey girl, How've you been? Mischeif is 5 months old. We found him on the night before Halloween, hence the name.I actually tried a little swat on the nose but he just bit me. I also tried having his balls cut off. OH! I mean he's been fixed, but He's still pretty Jekyll and Hyde. I'm not actually supposed to have one cat. So I don't think getting another is a good idea right now. I really do love him, at least until he starts chewing on me or tearing up the place

There is stuff on the market to keep puppies from chewing. It is said that it works for cats as well. Give that a try...
Oh, and the next time he bites you, bite him back. Seriously. Bite his ear or tail til he makes noise. They learn real quick not to bite. :)
