True story

Aug 24, 2011 19:48

I have just realized that my first year life in university residence in 2003/4 was populated by a crowd kind of disturbingly like the characters in The Social Network (as in the movie, 'cause the irl folks I know very little about and do not want to, lalalala). There was my roommate, the insufferable CS major, my friends up the hall--an improbably ( Read more... )

run-on sentence theatre, my life is so exciting, i like tags, tired of waking up tired, argh, idek, drama! betrayal! lack of planning!, tsn gives me a meta headache, fannish, scientific progress goes 'boink'?, i want another degree for some reason, silly, segues are for the weak, random, the thing about me is i'm kind of a dork

I am SO EXCITE for the TSN Big Bang, you don't even know.

Oh, I do know, because I am so right there with you. TOTAL STAGE THREE.

Also, I love that you had your own little Social Network. That is THE AWESOME.

*flail flail* So much fic is coming! Long fic! :D :D

And lolol, I was reading a dorm!fic on the kinkmeme and had a brainwave. The parallels are actually kind of hilarious, even if I have to cast myself as Sir Not Appearing In This Film. Brazilian marketing major who started small business in her spare time, asshat programmer roommate, our blonde-girl nemeses from up the hall. Oh man, I am having nostalgia. Except about my roommate. She was, uh, difficult.

You should totally watch it and read aaaaaaaall the ridiculous Jesse/Andrew fic, because it is made of rainbows and candy and crack apparently.

And I am a festival of tags, it is true. *wins*

Heeeee! You totally lived in Kirkland and didn't even know it! Awesome.

So, is stage three the one where the RED ALERT alarm starts going off? Because YEAH. This fandom is taking up like 98% of my brain space, and the remaining two percent is there to remind me to eat and sleep occasionally. Wheeeee. Btw, Andrew BROKE MY HEART in Boy A, OMG. *still sniffling* That kid's face should come with a warning label.

ALSO, your icon! Hee, Dustin. I (finally) listened to the commentary tracks on the DVD and the way Andrew and Armie and Josh talk about Joe Mazzello is the BEST. Andrew: "There's Joe, there's our favorite boy!" AWWWWW. ♥ That whole track is GOLD.

Good luck with school and weather shenanigans! (I am so ready for summer to be over... *hides*)

APPARENTLY. Maybe this is just a function of going to university in that stretch of the aughts, idk. If someone writes a girls' residence AU I am going to hide because the fic will truly start to resemble real life in ways I am not equipped to handle.

It's not a red alert so much as a rainbow. A sparkly one.

ANDREW EXCELS AT BREAKING YOUR FUCKING HEART. IT IS HIS SUPERPOWER.

The cast commentary is maaaaaaaaaigcal. Though I'm sad they didn't have Jesse in the room with Andrew and Armie and Josh for greater lolz. And yeah, all the fanboying of Joe was ♥.

I'm ready for the summer weather to be over? But I'm not ready for the undergraduates to come back and, like, the end of my degree to start happening. *flails*

And I here I was just thinking how I would read the hell out of a girls' residence AU! Hee.

I knooow, having all four of them on one track would have been GREAT. But then, there's something to be said for putting Jesse in a room all alone and just letting him RAMBLE. I really want to hear both of those tracks unedited, too, because I want more of Armie telling ridiculous stories and Andrew giggling. ♥ ♥ ♥

Dammit, Andrew. USE YOUR POWERS FOR GOOD. AND COMEDY.

Oooh, undergrads, good point. But the end of your degree will be great! Eventually! *pom poms*

Yes, I suppose the more people you have trying to talk, the more muddled and/or terribly edited the track would have to be. I can't help but think that having to do commentary by your onesies is kind of awkward, though. And especially for Mr. I Can't Watch Me Eisenberg.

LOL, Armie. "Dude! I do not have a headband." Heeeeee.

BE IN A COMEDY WITH JESSE, ANDREW. YOU WOULDN'T EVEN HAVE TO SIMULATE THE BROMANCE.

I wasn't sure I wanted to destroy my inbox like that! These people are actually reasonably Hollywood famous and, not, like, Canadian TV royalty or Callum. As much as a weekly digest might do my mail in.

HELLO HI. *twirls you*
