Timber Timbre are my favourites, but I thought maybe Hey Rosetta would get the prize and that would have been good.

I think I liked other AF albums better too... but obviously The Suburbs has something all the awards committees like because daaaaamn are they ever on a streak with that. WIN ALL THE THINGS.

Quebecois music is AWESOME and runs the gamut from folk to rap and back because of course Quebec is the second largest producer of French music in the world and kind of have to do for themselves, surrounded by les anglais as they are. *g*
I love that CBC 3 exposes me to it, since almost no radio stations in this vicinity play French music (and not much independent Canadian stuff in any language, for that matter. It pains me that when most people think of recent Canadian rock, they arrive at, like, Nickelback. Augh.) But I also feel sad when I figure I must be missing so much awesome music from all around just because it's not English and not played here. But, alas, I can't hear everything.

Oooo, shiny! \o/ I currently have a Mac. Will that work out okay?
I looked Galaxie up on Amazon (US) and they seem to have been indexed in with Galaxie 500. Sheesh. The album I found is "Tigre et Diesel." Alas, it did not come with samples of songs to play with.

And Tigre et Diesel is the album of which I speak. It's pretty overall cool! Were you thinking of purchasing it, or shall I still upload for you? :)
