Right now, she's trying to help me type. She always moving. And really likes computers and keyboards.
It's more like she's Mr. L's familiar. He was the one who bonded with her when the evil vet tech's brought her in to show him.
We're fine. Just frustrated. Don't worry about us, you've got much bigger things to worry about. They are going to pay us eventually, and you know Mr. L and I live well within our means, so we're good.
We're kinda in the same boat, except I lost my job back in April because of the Sequester. No one remembers that in the media; it's so 10 minutes ago. But Mr. Geoviki is now home too, luckily he's being home-productive. Young son, who got a job with FEMACorps, is considered essential, so he's working a zillion hours for pennies and living in an abandoned Sam's Club with his cohorts. Young daughter is a state employee and doesn't get a break, ha!
Hopefully, you'll be able to go back to work soon, too. And mr. G, as well.
I have been pretty productive myself. I cleaned something like 8 huge garbage bags of clothes and shoes out of my closet. Not to mention one of just running shoes -- still good to use, but not good for running anymore.
The kitty is so sweet. And active. And jumps. A lot. :-)
I'm sorry about the shutdown and the fact that you're both not working. The whole thing is just so bizarre. And I think my government is disfunctional.

I've been thinking about how the shutdown must be affecting you and L. I hope it ends soon--the taxpayers need people like you two on the job!

I'm thinking about all of you!

I hope with all my heart that this government thing gets sorted as quickly as possible for everyone over there :-(

And I hope so, too. I'm so tired of this.

Heh. I'm pretty sure all gov't are dysfunctional. Hopefully, it will all be over soon.
