As for comics, The Death of The Dream worth it for Sam, Tasha, and Bucky's recovery from being Winter Soldier. In fact I think you can get the whole Death of Cap arc digitally as Death of Captain America Omnibus
Also for in depth Bucky/WS The Winter Soldier issues 1 - 19 (2012 -2013) is really great. It should be available digitally too.
Happy New Year to you, too. I hope things are going well.
Thanks for the rec. I'll look up those titles. I don't do much on paper these days (totally a Kindle/iPad person), but I find graphic novels and comics need to be on paper for me to enjoy them.
Things are definitely going. *g* I hope life is treating you and the Mister well.
I prefer paper for anything other then fanfic but a lot of the pivotal comics are very hard to find in paper format for a reasonable price. That's the only reason I mentioned the digital availability.
I'm sorry you were sick for 2 races - that stinks! Running the Goofy is such a great expression. I will think of you enviously in Disneyworld.
If it weren't for Con.TXT in June, I probably wouldn't have seen anyone.
:( This must be rectified! (And is much how our 2014 went). We're going to be at Muskrat in May and Leviosacon in 2016. And I hope we can travel less for necessity and more for actually *seeing* people soon. Maybe we should do a mini reunion somewhere?
xoxoxoxo and absolutely best wishes to you and Mr. Oddities for 2015!!!
Yeah, the whole being sick and missing a race sucks. But you know, my days of running sick are done. Been there, done that and got yelled at for it. :-)
I think Muskrat is in March and I have a marathon that weekend and Mr L and I are going to do the NC BBQ tour after it. I'm thinking about Leviosacon. I haven't been to Vegas in a while.
I'd love to see you both. You know you always have a place to stay with me if you make it down this way.

I saw what Death of C. A. costs from Amazon and that seemed like a lot. But I have no idea what is reasonable for graphic novels.

Yes, it is! March: the other May. NC BBQ tour sounds crazy fun. Will you blog it in a way that people can vicariously taste the smoke and vinegar?
We would *love* to come down and see you. I hope we'll get the chance soon.
xoxoxoxo from us both
