Well, here it is. Not only did I manage to finish up the chapter, but I got past my writer's block and I'm making great progress on chapter 47, too. Since I don't go back to work until Tuesday, I'm planning on getting some serious writing done. Thank you all for your patience. I hope you enjoy the chapter. I can see this having a kid isn't going to be a bit of an issue but then again Justin has been known to convince Brian when he is doubting himself. I am happy for Dane and seeing that he is moving forward with his life and properly planning out everything but it helps that he has such a great support system.

Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it...especially since I struggled so hard to write it. Luckily, chapter 47 is much easier for me. It's already finished and sent off for editing. It should be up by the end of the week. :-)

Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it. You know, I've been re-watching the series lately with my youngest daughter. (She's 18 now and not opposed to half naked men on the TV screen. Don't know where she gets that from...lol)We recently watched the episode where Brian's nephew accused him of molesting him. The interaction between Brian and Joan at Claire's house...it broke my heart. I know it's not real, of course, but there's actually parents like that out there. Parents who are mentally and physically abusive to their kids and I don't see how they can be like that. Some days I'd like to strangle my kids, my oldest is 23 and still at home with me, too; but I'd never actually hurt them. I couldn't. It would be like hurting myself.

Anyway, I'm rambling. Again, glad you enjoyed it. Chapter 47 will be up at the end of the week. :-)

I totally agree with you!

My mom taught emotionally disturbed kids, and most of their problems stemmed from their screwed up parents! I often wonder why some people even have kids, when it's obvious they don't want to actually parent them!
